Year Two Taught Us a Lot. Here's the Honest Recap.
Two years. It sounds short, but a lot can happen in two years. Vivid Curiosity Photobooths just hit its second birthday, and honestly, it feels like we've lived through about five of them. We started with a clear vision and a small lineup. What we have now looks different from what we launched with, and that's not an accident.
This is the real recap. Not the highlight reel, not the polished version. The actual story of what changed, what we let go, and what we refused to budge on no matter what.
Smiles and bonding moments. The recipe for a great photo.
We Added Things. We Cut Things. That's Just Growth.
When Vivid Curiosity Photobooths opened, the lineup was simple: a classic Photobooth, a spin booth, and an Audio Guest Book. Clean, focused, easy to explain. But as we got more events under our belt, it became obvious that not everything was earning its place. The spin booth got cut. No ceremony, no long goodbye. It wasn't delivering the experience we wanted to attach our name to, and that was enough of a reason.
What came in after that felt more intentional. The Video Guest Book joined the lineup and filled a real gap. More props, more backdrop options, better variety for different event styles. And we added our photography brand as its own thing, separate and distinct, because it deserved that space. Every addition had a reason. Every cut had one too.

The Gear Got Better, and So Did the Work
We bought a new camera. That might sound like a small detail, but in this industry, equipment is not a footnote. It shapes what you can actually deliver. When the quality of your output is tied directly to the tools you use, upgrading isn't optional, it's the job.
The work was good from the start. We're confident saying that. But good enough yesterday isn't the goal for tomorrow. The images and videos coming out of a Vivid Curiosity Photobooths event today are sharper, more consistent, and more polished than what we were producing at launch. That's not a knock on where we started. It's just what happens when a team keeps pushing forward instead of getting comfortable.
One Thing Never Changed
Through every addition, every cut, every pricing adjustment, every upgrade, the client and their guests were always the center of every decision. Not the gear. Not the offerings list. Not the bottom line. Always the people at the event.
This isn't something Vivid Curiosity Photobooths says because it sounds good. It shows up in how we set up, how we interact on-site, how we troubleshoot when something unexpected happens. The experience someone has at their wedding, their birthday, their corporate event, that's what we're actually building every time. The rest is just the infrastructure around it.
Two years in, the lineup is stronger, the quality is better, and the brand has grown in ways we're genuinely proud of. But the thing that actually holds it all together is the same commitment to the people showing up to celebrate. That's what guides every gear decision, every new service, every change we've made and will keep making. If you're planning an event and want a team that treats the experience as seriously as you do, Vivid Curiosity Photobooths is ready for it.
